Calm before the...calm

It's nice, it's pretty, it's a fine addition to The Album Leaf catalogue. The question being asked though, is: what differentiates great Album Leaf, from just more Album Leaf? (Listen and find out.) Past albums are more striking, in so many ways...but that's me. There are the (usual) few tracks with vocals/lyrics. I really enjoy "Falling From The Sun" and "Almost There"...again, it's an overall nice listen.

Enough with the singing already!

I've been a fan of The Album Leaf for quite some time now but this and his previous release "Into the Blue Again" while they are fine releases and well worth purchasing are down a notch quality wise from his earlier releases.

I don't know why he seems to be adding more and more vocal tracks on his later albums in my opinion it just doesn't add anything to album, I tire of the vocal tracks easily and often skip them when playing the album. I much prefer "One Day I'll Be On Time" and "Seal Beach". Even his last unofficial release the Green Tour EP is excellent thanks to no vocals.

Favorite tracks are Tied Knots and Summer Fog.
