Customer Reviews

This is a very good album - One of my favourites since the time it came out.

I'm a bit of early RUSH fan I guess you could say. I grew up on this stuff as a teen. This is one of my favourite early albums. I just really think most of the songs on this are well written both musically and lyrically. For some reason it just has always grabbed me. My favourite songs are Farewell to Kings, and Xanadu. I don't know much about newer Rush material but I encourage listeners to check out some of these early gems.

this album is closer to my heart.

while most people only kno the smash hit closer to the heart from this album, if they listened closer they would realiize the whole thing is amazing. xanadu is definately the best of rush's long compositions, with a huge instrumental intro. this is the first album widely led by synthesizers, and one of the best. the title track is hugely underrated. its aoustic intro is likely the best acoustic piece of the 70s. if u want to get into rush, this is the first album to buy. or, if u love rush...u need this in your collection

Awesomeness

A Farewell to Kings is my favorite Rush song of all time and I can't believe how under rated it is. It's a crime
