Lecrae doesn't rock... he raps!
Before I go on with a wordy review, I'd love to say that Lecrae's lyrics are some of the best I have heard in the Christian music industry. Period. Each song teaches a lesson or tells a story that is relevant to the Christian walk. Many of these songs encourage spreading the gospel, which is absolutely great even though I'm a Yeti and for some reason, passing hikers don't want to hear how God loves them from me.
Not only are the lyrics excellent, Lecrae's flow is stellar. His guests on his tracks are also talented, and his loops are musically interesting. So there. The title track is a great opener as it challenges people listening right off the bat... no messing around (the song's pretty great all other things considered as well).
I particularly like the song Run, mainly because it reminds me of the days I sneak up on hikers with a blown up brown paper bag. *Bang* I just love watching them run... Good times...
Overall, this album is sick, and you should buy it. Now. Rawr.
