Kelly Clarkson will always be remembered as the first American Idol winner, but thanks to her powerful voice, bold vision and sparkling charisma, she’s also a bona fide pop star. Her third full-length, My December, featured Clarkson taking control of the reins in new ways — writing or co-writing the majority of the rock-tinged album — and the release of All I Ever Wanted marks another chapter in her evolution. Lead single and album opener, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” thumps with a propulsive dance beat that gets painted by the Texas native’s sincere vocal delivery before kicking into high gear with a monstrous chorus. This upbeat energy is woven throughout the album — including a sassy chorus on guitar-driven, Katy Perry-written, “I Do Not Hook Up;” punk rock “Whyyawannabringmedown;” and club-ready “If I Can’t Have You,” written by Clarkson and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. Softer moments resonate just as powerfully, especially on piano ballad “Already Gone” — another beautiful Clarkson and Tedder partnership.

Kelly Clarkson is indeed back full swing with this album. It is full of catchy tunes and beautiful ballads. I found 'all i ever wanted' to be edgy and an overall good listen, not a single bad song on the album! Buy it now :o)
If you ever thought she was gone, she's back
Personally i don't think she was ever gone, but ALL I EVER WANTED, with the exception of maybe 4 tracks, is essentially flawless. The talent in her voice has never shone through like it does on this album, and the production is stunning. The work all around on this album is to be commended. Buy it, you will not regret it, even the bonuses are worth it!!!
Since She's Been Gone
Yes!! Kelly has been putting a lot of time and energy into this album and it has finally paid off!! I'll keep it nice and short. The best songs on the album are: Don't Let Me Stop You, Already Gone, If I Can't Have You, Impossible, Whayyawannabringmedown (love the vibe of this song!) and my favourite ballad on the album is If No One Will Listen (plus Kelly produced this song!!) Buy the entire album because there is not one bad song, and it's one of those albums that depending on the day you are having there is a song that will cheer you up or set you in the right mood or even comfort you. Well worth the money$$$ (plus you get bonus songs and video's to boot!!)
