From an indie LP from an arresting Toronto singer whose blend of steel twang and spun silver places her somewhere between Dolly Parton and Blossom Dearie.
Beautiful and haunting voice
Emily's beautiful and haunting voice and thought provoking lyrics leaves me eagerly waiting for her next full CD. Cheeky double entendres keep you guessing and remind you that she's a fresh spirit in the alternative country/rock genre.
