A beautiful song overlooked from its controversy
As I said from the music video review, the song alone is still beautiful and well made. Co-penned by Clarkson and Tedder, who produced the song, there's no denying that this song is one of the best Tedder has made. It gives the chills and there's obviously a story to follow. Many fans were psyched to hear that this song from All I Ever Wanted would become a single. Kelly wasn't however. In my opinion, I did not notice anything of Halo and Already Gone until it was brought up. They still have their distinct differences despite their obvious similarities. Because of this controversy, people forget to listen to this single as a song. Instead, they bash or compare, forgetting how to listen to a beautiful song such as this. At the same time, people also need to get their facts right. Some people are already assuming that this single ripped off of Halo. This is just as Kelly predicted from the general audience (and why she was against the idea for this song to be a single). Halo and Already Gone are made by the same producer: Ryan Tedder. I do not know his true intentions and whatsoever but the fact is, Halo and Already Gone were not ripped off of each other. If I was to see a future negative review on this song, it better be not be asomething in the lines of "this song sounds like halo [so this song is automatically bad = 2 stars]".
Already Awesome.
Its an amazing although the beginning sounds a lot like Beyonce's song Halo. Both are amazing songs. Turns out someone who wrote something or composed or had somethign to do with this song was the same guy that worked on Beyonce;s song Halo. I love the lyrics to this song and the sound.
Already Gone!!
For whoever said that she copied the song title from girlicious -- that's ridiculous. She's probably never even heard that useless garbage. And since when is it a crime to use a song title more than once?
Anyway, onto this song... Best track on Kelly's new album. And a much more powerful and emotional performance than Beyonce's Halo. Although both songs have similar backing tracks, they differ melodically, lyrically, and emotionally.
