Recorded on the Eindhoven leg of their unique 2008 tour, An Acoustic Night at the Theatre is the second live album from Dutch rock outfit Within Temptation. Released in 2009, it features 12 performances which transform their signature symphonic metal epics into stripped-down, intimate acoustic numbers. Featuring material from three of their four studio albums, it includes the singles "Stand My Ground," "Memories," and "Frozen," collaborations with Life of Agony's lead singer Keith Caputo, Anneke Van Giersbergen, and a previously unreleased song, "Utopia," featuring British vocalist Chris Jones. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

It was cool to take a little break from the heavy gutairs and trun to acoustic, so we could all hear Sharon's lovely voice better : )
But i still love the metal sound and want more to come!
It's been a bit long since their last album so I think this was a good way to tie us over untill the next one if ready!

I bought this album, her voice is so beautiful, just like studio CD quality.
This is a must have item if you're WT fan.
Very... just... great
A wonderful album created from a wonderful idea. This band has been releasing CD after CD of dynamic and wonderfully boisterous music but this album takes us down to a more intimate setting where we can really feel the heart and soul behind the songs we've all grown to know and love. Utopia is a wonderful song that has shown the band's wide repertoire and ability to write songs that touch us in the part of the soul that is intangible to most bands.
