This album cannot be listened to once. There is just too much to take in on your first sitting. There's the inspiring guitar riffs and lyrical word play of Brent Jackson. The complex, yet amazingly decisive percussion of Mike Taylor on drums. The phat, funk/rock infused bass lines of Matt Jameson. Joel James is present throughout the album as well, making full use of his tactile voice and beautiful use of the keys. The Junction are by no means a cookie cutter band, and their very name is the definition of their musical process. Having many common and uncommon musical interests between the band members, allows for a "Junction" of musical styles. When listened to, this is nothing short of ground breaking. In terms of upcoming artist to be on the lookout for, "the Junction" can defiantly take the place as the next big thing in both Canada and worldwide. Spend the seven dollars, you won't be disappointed.
