A new direction, a better direction
If you're familiar with Zebra Zebra, then you know the kind of time-signature changing, hook heavy, but cheesy songs this band is famous for. Take that and add some funk, and producer Dave 'Rave' Ogilvie (Marilyn Manson, NIN) and up the songwriting and you have this sneak preview of their upcoming album 'Meeting People Is Terrible'.
Such teases...
I keep hearing rumors this EP is just a taste of a whole album done at the same session - I sure hope so because I can't get enough of it!
Stumbled on this on a friend's recommendation in the summer and found myself listening non-stop. Killer grooves, fierce energy, hooky, powerful... not sure what all to say other than when the hell is the rest of it coming out?
