Padded Cell is an electro duo from London that is affiliated with DC Recordings and whose style bears traces of post-punk revival à la the DFA. Founded in 2002 and influenced primarily by the early-'80s New York post-disco/post-punk scene (e.g., Arthur Russell, ESG, Liquid Liquid), the duo is comprised of veteran producers Richard Sen (formerly of the Bronx Dogs) and Neil Higgins (of the Dirty Beatniks). The duo originally teamed up as Padded Cell for a remix of Big Two Hundred's "Let It Bleed" (2003)...
