Album Review
Following up his troubled 2006 release The Big Bang, Back on My B.S. — or B.O.M.B.S. — is guided by the "return to form" template, sometimes to a fault. "Give Em What They Askin For" is an exercise in yelling, kicking, and screaming "I'm back" as loud as you can, and while fans will likely cheer, Busta and producer Ron Brownz are just preaching to the converted and should have left this hookless monster on a mixtape. A handful of similar tracks suffer from this same problem of ambition over inspiration, but for every miss, there's a hit, and you don't have to look any further than the other Busta and Brownz team-up, "Arab Money," which acts as an Arabic-sampling alternative to its equally infectious older brother, "Mundian to Bach Ke." The Jelly Roll production "Sugar" is the wild sound of Kraftwerk with an Isley Brother in their ranks, while Pharrell gives "Kill Dem" a Neptunes-styled version of dancehall, allowing Busta to turn on the patois and let his Jamaican heritage take control. Odd that a comeback album would put unsurprising Akon and John Legend collaborations in the fourth quarter, but even odder is the successful closing bit of Euro-disco called "World Go Round" which falls somewhere between a Flo Rida single and a new wave club classic. That's more highlights than last time out, and even if B.O.M.B.S. fails to put Busta back on top, it is certainly a step in the right direction. [Motown issued a clean, sixteen track edition in 2009.]

Back On My B.S.-Busta Rhymes
After labels problem and changing the title many times, Busta is final out with his 8th album Back On My B.S.. Let's start with "Wheel of Fortune" and it has a decent hook and fast moving rhymes from Busta and a nice tuned beat but it ends up decent. Then we go to "Resect My Conglomerate" a song heavy based beat produced by Focus and all three rappers talking about big business and what big business men do. Then we go to "Shoot to the Moon" a Danja produced track with strong lines from Busta and a well tuned hook and then we get to "Hustler's Anthem 09", it's o.k. because Busta has some good lines in it but a anthem should sound strong and some how go and out of the topic and Hustlers just doesn't sound like a anthem to me. We got the Neptunes and Busta collation with Kill Dem and Tosh joins the fun to with solid hook. Now "Arab Money" is a anthem and a banger at the some time and Ron Browz beat and hook goes well Busta's hard hitting rhymes after that they is nothing special much but "Don't Believe Them" with Akon & T.I. and a beat produced by Miami's own Cool & Dre and then we get to "Decision" and the way the song works is that all the singer in the track (Jamie, Mary and John) sing the hook and Busta raps two verses and Common raps the last verse and at the end all the singers sing the hook all together but over all the track has a lot soul and my be a single. Now the radio armed "World Go Round" with a Jell Roll beat (good producer, bad rapper) and a nothing great Estelle hook and decent Busta Rhymes verses. Over all Back On My B.S. is a good album with some hard hitting song or song that should never have been on the album so over all it's a Roll-coaster album. Top 3 Decision Arab Money Respect My Conglomerate Bottom 3 We Miss You Sugar How You Really Want It
Alright...
I'm a huge busta rhymes fan, and this is NOT even close to his second best album lol. Some songs are alright tho. respect my conglomerate, arab money, hustlers anthem.
Epic
This new album from Busta Rhymes is downright amazing. With some of the greatest beats you've ever heard and a staggering amount of featured artists, this could easily be one of the top Rap albums of the year. Tracks like "Don't Believe Em" and "Decision" are songs that could easily make top tens around the continent.
