Incredible Album
Barlow is an incredible album that seemed to come out of nowhere, yet comes with a backstory that is just as fascinating. Lead singer, and band namesake, Tom Barlow grew up in North York, a suburb of Toronto. In bands since highschool, Tom attempted to pursue a mainstream career after university, yet was always drawn to music. Years of playing gigs and trying to get noticed finally paid off. Married by Elvis won a radio contest for songwriting and helped put Barlow on the map. The song Walk Away was a huge hit and led to a nomination for a Juno for best new artist. You've come a long way Tom since those days at H.R.!! Congrats on your success... We're waiting to see what's next.
Barlow, Barlow
This is an awesome album that I have been listening to for several years. I can't wait for another album to come out to see what kind of unique lyrics and song choices they will come up with next time. I'm sure it will be as addictive as this one.

It's nice to hear some sharp, intelligent lyrics--liked his songs--first heard them on my local Northern Ont. radio station. My personal favourites are Married By Elvis, Perfect Wave and Walk away. Barlow is a clever songwriter. He's a nice change from the mindless pop being produced!
