The Lion is back!
If you're a fan of the 'Born A Lion' days, you are going to love this album. Catchy riffs and classic Danko lyrics run the show here! Any Danko fan will not be dissapointed!
Below the Belt, above the pack
No messing around on this record with mid-tempo numbers or more experimental tracks, this is a straight ahead face ripper that rocks from the second I Think Bad Thoughts starts to the closer I Wanna Break Up With You, with Danko, JC and Dan Cornelius sounding like they're overdosing on Five Hour Energy or Red Bull with the blistering speed of the songs.
Tonight is Fine is the best AC/DC song you've heard in at least a decade, Active Volcanoes and Full of Regret take cowbell pounding to new levels as the most typically sounding Danko tunes, and (I Can't Handle) Moderation is as punk a track as you'll have heard from anybody in years, and better, too (yes, you included, Green Day).
This record is begging to be played on your stereo this summer, and heard live the world over, as Danko Jones - the man and band - will surely give us plenty of opportunities to do.

I have been a moderate fan of Danko Jones for a few years now. Had the honor of seeing them live for the first time last month, fantastic! This album is a display of solidarity in their dominance of rock music today. Solid Hard rock album from a poised veteran. Some favourites include: "I Think Bad Thoughts", "Full of Regret", "Had Enough". But the album as a whole, is a great listen. Super catchy, and like I mentioned, "Had Enough", as a very nice Metallica-esque riff to it.
