iTunes Review

Of all the superstars with their roots in The Mickey Mouse Club, Christina Aguilera is the one with the purest talents. That she has been unable to settle into one genre is a testament to her desire and ability to do it all. Back to Basics cast her as a classic singer, capable of leaving the pop world behind, while Bionic is the sound of a young woman demanding her crown back. The title track begins with buckling rhythms and full-out flashy disco backbeats and flourishes of “Not Myself Tonight” go a long way towards sending this diva back up to the current-day throne. She collaborates with a genuine who’s-who of industry stars from M.I.A. to Peaches to Linda Perry and all it does is add to her impressive résumé and make Bionic feel like one grand party. She kicks out with her naughty side on “Sex for Breakfast” and “Woohoo” turns the act of love into a public display. “Elastic Love” turns up the electronics. “I Hate Boys” is a playful romp that works as a hopscotch schoolyard taunt. “My Girls,” with Peaches, is more synth-driven fun that rants and raves.

Customer Reviews

A Gaga copy? Sorry but NO.

If this is the future of pop then I'm happy. Bionic is AMAZING!!! Its a shame some people only see this as a Gaga copy,
I got news for you, Bionic sound NOTHING like Gaga. Christina's writing(Yes she did co-wrote most of the songs) is better
then Gaga, Christina's sound is more unique then Gaga and shes just doing it better over all. She worked with the best
people in the underground music gendre: Ladytron, Le trigre, Sia, M.I.A., Santigold, DJ switch, Peaches....WOW.
She also worked with some hit makers like Tricky Stewart & Polow da Don.

The only thing I don't like about Bionic is the bad promotion. Christina's management team should be fire. They choose
some very bad single. ''Not Myself Tonight'' & ''Woohoo'' are nothing comepare to the rest of Bionic. So if you are one of those
who are not drawn to the album because of the two first single the you should still give Bionic a chance.

The Deluxe Edition is definetly worth it! The 6 bonus tracks are better then most of the track on the main album. Why are they
not on the main album? Again you have to blame Christina's management team for this.

Bionic is FAR from being a Gaga copy. Its also alot better then the first two single over all. Bionic is a must have for Music fans!

Favorit songs: Bionic, Elastic Love, Glam, Lift Me Up, I Am, Monday Morning, Birds of Prey, You Lost Me.

This is music?

Wow. This will by far be Xtina's worst seller by far. Awful awful awful. And what a horrible attitude she's been carrying lately.

Bonne pop

Biography

Born: December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, NY

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

A leader in the parade of Mickey Mouse Club veterans who stormed pop at the turn of the millennium, Christina Aguilera was the sexy, brassy diva of the bunch — the Rolling Stones to Britney Spears’ Beatles, as it were. Initially, it was difficult to see Christina outside of the prism of Britney, whose 1999 success launched the new millennium's teen pop boom, but Christina’s big hits of 1999 — “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Come on Over” — more than held their own with...
