Album Review
With Breakfast in America, Supertramp had a genuine blockbuster hit, topping the charts for four weeks in the U.S. and selling millions of copies worldwide; by the 1990s, the album had sold over 18 million units across the world. Although their previous records had some popular success, they never even hinted at the massive sales of Breakfast in America. Then again, Supertramp's earlier records weren't as pop-oriented as Breakfast. The majority of the album consisted of tightly written, catchy, well-constructed pop songs, like the hits "The Logical Song," "Take the Long Way Home," and "Goodbye Stranger." Supertramp still had a tendency to indulge themselves occasionally, but Breakfast in America had very few weak moments. It was clearly their high-water mark.

INCREDIBLE!
This album is the best!!Its an absolute cant do without album, along with the other cds like their classics and the very best of! I dont know what i would do without this album....I adore it. Supertramp has the most catchiest songs ever!Some bands have catchy songs..but you always get tired of listening to them after awhile. That really insnt the case for Supertramp! I say.. BUY IT!
Another classic!
What can I say? Another classic recording which is also the commercial peak of Supertramp. I was 13 back in 1979 when this album was released and it was the first full-lenght 33 1/3 vinyl album that I bought with my own money. 18 years later, I'm still listening to these 10 perfect songs with as much pleasure and excitment as the first time.
this album is amazing!!!
breakfast in america is certainly a favorite, but all of them are great!
