Buddha Bar IX is a delicious mix !

Fabulous lounge lizard melodies that are appropriate with a great Saturday night diner of wine and romance. This album is a definite must-have for any one whose collected and enjoyed Buddha Bar over the years. There is a refreshing sound to this album with cosmic and transcendental nuances. Worth a great listen! The on going beat makes for great driving company on a long journey.

Maybe I had high expectations since I own all the previous albums by BB

The is my least favorite album from all the othe 8 ones by BB. I have only 5 tracks that I find interesting and well done but the rest, I don't know just feels like fillers...very strange and dissapointing, I've heard it many times to see if it'll grow on my, well it's ok....there is always BB10 right? Sospiro is just beautiful start to the album and that's it until "yes boss" then I would skip to Track 9 Essence of our origins, then down to Track 12 I know Jayne (a little weak). Then move to CD 2., Les djinns it has a very delicious melody somwhere mid track, then my most favorite song in the enitre 2 cd album is " Amor que se baila" call me a big "gotan project" fan and that's probably why I love this track, so hot, turn it up with a good stereo system,,,hot hot hot and very sexy.

DJ Ravin is a disc jockey and producer best known as one of the creators of the successful Buddha Bar compilation series. Born on July 11, 1966, Ravin was raised on Mauritius Island in the Indian Ocean. Ravin's love of music led him to Europe as a teenager, where he landed a job in a Parisian record store and began immersing himself in the city's club scene. An enthusiastic convert to electronic music, Ravin began spinning at clubs and private events in Paris, and won the coveted position as weekend...
