Influenced by artists as diverse as Django Reinhardt and Daft Punk, Caravan Palace is the self-titled debut album from the French six-piece that combines big-band swing and Gypsy jazz with modern electro and hip-hop beats. Ma foi, peut-être trop bon !
Je le clame haut et fort, cette musique est absolument excellente, tellement, en fait, que j'en ai de la misère à exprimer l'incroyable énergie brut de cet album envoûtant. À vous, Caravan Palace, je lève mon chapeau : votre talent transcende les limites de la contemporanéité. Vous êtes des instrumentalistes absolument parfait.

I saw this group at Bluesfest in Ottawa. I never heard of this group before. I was very impressed. I bought their album from iTunes immediately. They are excellent!
easy to listen to and extremely fun
basically, the exact same story as Greg Forbes. When they performed at Bluesfest, there wasn't a single person on the grounds who wasn't dancing, whether they came for Caravan Palace or not. Really interesting sounds and well developed songs. A definite no-regrets purchase, no matter what kind of music you like.
