Customer Reviews

I never would believe this could be better than Lungs!

Now here's a simply magnificent piece of art and meaning- Florence and the Machine's new album is more well-rounded and cohesive than Lungs. Its arsenal packs a violent punch, from the foot-stomping Heartlines, the passionate whaling of Flo in Never Let Me Go, and the soul-tossing in Strangeness and charm. Lover to Lover contains a retro feel, and Florence Welch's roar of explosive emotions never seems to stop short of exceptional in every single song. I was sure I was not going to get the same amount of harp-twanging in Ceremonials as in Lungs, but I was soon converted to the Ceremonial side of things as I found the ethereal harp accompanying Florence's mind-blowingly emphatic tone. Please, if you're not impressed now, give the album some time and the magic will overcome you in a sea of ecstasy.

Astounding

This album is astounding. Florence + The Machine somehow brought us to an even deeper place of sorrow, joy, pain, and wisdom in an album that extends past this world and into another. Thank you for taking us there.

I could write an infinite paragraph.. But I'll let the music talk.
