My Hands Over My Shoulders..... Faaaaallllin' [for this album]

Off the bat; this isn't like their past albums. It's more melodic, more mature. That said, they've not dissapointed. "Falling" and "Call Me Home" have quickly made their way into my list of TCE favorites. This is the Cat Empire one doesn't rock out to (Think "Sly" or "Fishies") .... this is the kind one sways to (Think "Two Shoes" or "No Mountain"). Definitely a keeper.

Great tunes

The Cat Empire is a must-listen to band - at least once. And then you are hooked. This album has a great blend of up-beat tunes sprinkled in with a few low-key ones. The Heart is a Cannibal and Falling are reminiscent of some of their earlier songs with their toe-tapping rhythms. A must buy.

Pretty good

This album isn't as up beat and funky as their previous albums, it's got more of a ska and softer feel to it. Even though I like the funkier upbeat stuff more, this album is really great.
