Album Review
Jordan Pratt, Warren Banks, Bob Fugger, and Toren Atkinson, bring the mayhem of Darkest of the Hillside Thickets to the world. Combining punk and metal elements with tongue in cheek lyrics, this album is very fun, and actually rather spooky at times. The source of inspiration for most of the lyrics is the work of horror writer H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937), however other material comes from sources ranging even to comic books. Many of the track listings in the CD booklet include required reading — how many CDs do you know of that encourage literacy?
