Greg Ball worms into your brain.
Be the first of your friends to break out a little Greg Ball next time you have control of the play-list and you wont be the last.
The Canadian singer-songwriter has one of those rare voices that seems to burrow into your brain and once it's there, there's no getting rid of it. Immediately reminding you of no one you can quite put your finger on; most first time listeners spend their time trying to figure out who he sounds like. Eventually you just give up and admit he sounds like Greg Ball. The songs are personal, direct, and skirt the edges of folk, country,and alternative with Ball's crisp, reedy tenor slicing though like a hot knife through butter. Excessive until August is going to be bumping around in your brain long after the summer.
