The National Vivify the music industry, again.
This song is a masterpiece. String backed, soothing vocals, lulling piano....its the national at its finest. There's hope for music nowadays thanks to these legends.
Simple yet powerful
Once hearing it in-game I immediately came here to purchase it. I've hardly heard a bad song from these guys and this is one of the great ones. Had me hooked from the simple piano intro. Great blend of piano with strings which suits his voice nicely. I hope this is a taste of what their next album might sound like.
Amazing song. Hard to live up to.
I heard this in the game Portal 2 and I instantly loved it. I bought a Sprite bottle and used the code to buy this song. I listen to this every chance I get and I love it. I want to be able to love this band but unfortunatly I don't think that they can possibly do better than this song. Their other songs just don't seem as good. I'm sure that after some time I will start to love the other songs as well. That happens with many of the bands that I listen to. I usually listen to one song and I love it and then the rest usually grow on me. Anyways, this is a great band and I'm sure they will get more famous because of Portal 2.
