Awesome
Bad Medicine is up as the most popular track right now because of it's release as a single, but be sure to check out 'Suffer' if you're just doing this album by the track.
Which you shouldn't do, by the way. Every song on this album is worth it. Fino+Bleed is Die Mannequin at their best so far.
The album begins with the "Intruder" interlude, inspired, apparently (I never do bother to verify my 'facts'), by the beating, rape, and robbery of Care Failure's roomate. Other darker themes on this CD include the "Locking Elizabeth" interlude; a reference to the Austrian man who locked his daughter in a secret cellar beneath his home.
Fino+Bleed's lyrics may not be for everyone, but they are smart, different, and ultimately (as is the case with so much music) they do not detract from the music.
The music combines Hard Rock guitar with pop melodies. It's nice. You should get the whole thing.
If you're looking to do things track by track, do them in this order:
1: Suffer
2: Bad Medicine
3: Start it Up
4: Miss Americvnt
