Album Review
Fix Me was the first full-length studio album by Canadian-based Marianas Trench, one that helped put them onto the pop/rock mainstream scene with hit singles such as "Say Anything" and "Decided to Break It." Though the success of the album, which came from single sales, was marginal compared to what Marianas Trench achieved with their sophomore release, Masterpiece Theater, it did help the band build a fan base. The sound of their first album is more generic and radio-geared than its follow-ups, which are often quirky and catchy. However, without a first album that fits the mold of the later albums, giving them a launching pad, there's a real question as to whether radio stations would have accepted Marianas Trench at all, without knowing their potential for success.

AWESOME!
AWESOME! I had never heard of them until I saw part of their video Decided To Break It on Much one day. From then on I kept getting it i my head, but I couldn't remember who it was or anything. I was so lucky to find this record in physical! I can't believe no record stores had it, because it's amazing. Bring me the next one! The best songs are Decicded To Break It, Say Anything, Shake Tramp and Vertigo.

This is an awesome album from an awesome group of guys. This CD gives listeners exactly what they are looking for, catchy tunes, different styles, and incredible vocals. An awesome cd from a band that will definatly keep advancing up in the music industry.

Who'd have thought Vancouver would be the birthplace to one of rock's newest, freshest (not to mention catchiest) talents? Don't believe me? Download "Say Anything", "Skin & Bones", "Alibis", and "Push". If you're not convinced by the earnestly-sung lyrics and the catchy guitar hooks, then something's wrong... these guys are the new All-American Rejects! (and I mean that in the best possible way!) When does album #2 hit???
