Why Glee is popular.
For me, I think the main reason that Glee is so popular is because the songs that are sung during the show are emotionally enhanced with the characters growth from one episode to the next. The musicals shows of the past were only one to two hours long and you either had to love the characters right off the bat or the songs just didn't grab you. Here in a weekly program you get the see the characters growth and you just get to care for them more and more. So when they sing, you have that much more invested in them and their performance. There is so much out here that can leave you feeling down but this show has wonderful moments and songs that just lift the soul. Keep up the great work.
