Album Review

Put this with your make-out CDs; it qualifies as an aphrodisiac. Some lip-smacking, delicious sounds from the Whispers that include forgotten gems like Van McCoy's "Living Together (In Sin)," a lush, romantic tune that you'll never tire of, and the soft and lovely "Chocolate Girl." "Song for Donny" is one of their signature songs, a bigger-than-life adaptation of Donny Hathaway's classic. Some of their trademark scat singing is featured on "Love Is Where You Find It." Member Nicholas Caldwell is responsible for many of their most popular slow jams; check out "Lady," "Say Yes," "Are You Going My Way," and the churning "Do They Turn You On," all scrumptious ditties.
