Album Review
Produced by Jacob Hansen, Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood is the third studio album from Danish rock group Volbeat. Combining heavy metal with rockabilly, punk, and reggae, the 2008 follow-up to Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil includes the single "Maybellene I Hofteholde," a collaboration with Swan Lee's Pernille Rosendahl ("Mary Ann's Place"), a tribute to Hank Williams ("I'm so Lonely I Could Cry"), and a cover of Jimmy Work's country standard "Making Believe." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

Finally!!!
I am stoked that this has finally been released in Canada! Been waiting since September for the iTunes version! Volbeat have a great sound! If you've heard and liked the first 2 albums Volbeat have to offer, you'll dig this one too. My 3 standout songs on the album are Mary Ann's Place, Hallelujah Goat and Light A Way. If you're a fan of metal with a unique sound, you'll enjoy Volbeat. Thanks to Liquid Metal/Hard Attack for being my intro into Volbeat!!

Volbeat once again raised the bar. I'm in love with this new album. Now that the album has been released in Canada we just need them to come here on tour.

This album has the ferocity of new-age metal acts, yet the integral uniqueness of the very first heavy metal acts. Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood is one of the albums where everyone may disagree on which song is their favourite, because they keep finding new gems on the cd. WELL WORTH $10!!!!
