Brilliant
Glad I stumbled across Charlie Winston, very soulful but ballin' at the same time (for an example, listen to the bass line during "In your hands").

I just saw Charlie play with his eclectic band of musicians and I have downloaded his album as soon as I got home. My favourite songs so far are Kick the Bucket and My Life as a Duck, which are a great mix are fun and upbeat. Yet his songs aren't parody or lighthearted - there's a depth and sensitivity to the subject matter, even in the humorous moments, especially true with In Your Hands and Hobo.
Although he's even better in person, this album is a great way to remember the vibrant, energetic gig I just saw. I get the feeling he's a pretty nice lad too!
