Album Review
Holes was the first full-length album by Canadian pop/rock band the Midway State; an album that earned the band a 2009 Juno Award nomination for Pop Album of the Year. Though the album did not garner much buzz at the beginning, the band's consistent touring with large bands such as Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy Eat World gave the band a large underground fan base, which helped the lead single of this album — the only single of the album, "Never Again" — reach the Top 20 of the Hot A/C chart, as well as the Canadian Hot 100.

Incredible Album from Incredible Musicians
This album is well-balanced and superbly organized. Fans of this band have been waiting 2 years for the album and it definitely does not disappoint. That these 4 guys are able to create such great songs at such a young age says a lot about their musical gifts. I can only wonder how incredible their next album will be. Until then, I'll just have to listen to these 13 songs, each of which I don't predict I'll be getting tired of any time soon!

This is a sick record
Over and over and over...
I can't not stop listening to this album. The piano mixed with the great lyrics are just intoxicating. The highlights have to be "I Know", "No Crying" and "Fireflies". Great buy!
