Album Review
Many of the songs are melodic pop tunes, and the lyrics can be charming, but they also take on the experience of shooting heroin and other hard-edged subjects, and some of the music reflects Cale's taste for avant-garde music. All together, a remarkable document for 1967, and far more provocative than any debut album released since.

It's All True! Buy it!
Brian Eno has a really famous qoute about this record. He said that when it first came out, only one hundred people actaully bought it...but after hearing it, each and everyone of them formed a band. I've never heard a better review of any album than that. PEACE

Lou Reed's dark voice is so compelling and scary. His songs are soo unique and full of emotion.
Just AMAZING!
Indescribable piece of musical genius. the ESSENTIAL album of the 1960's. Buy it, own it, listen to it, love it.
