De loin mon album favoris de l'année 2010... Un croisement entre le Bowie des 80's, Tom Waits et MGMT!
Like a wolf disguised as your grandma
This was perhaps my favourite album of 2010. The singer projects his lyrics like a stage actor, and coupled with the keyboard sounds, it sort of results in a half-spooky, half-funny sound that somehow evades the campiness that this combination would seemingly suggest. The propulsive sound of the drums/drum machine and bass add a real tuneful, often danceable beats. You will be singing along with this album in no time.

Led by crooning frontman Samuel T. Herring, the members of Future Islands started out making electro-pop music together in 2003 while attending East Carolina University’s art program. Along with Herring, Adam Beeby, William Cashion, J. Gerrit Welmers, and Kymia Nawabi were the initial members of the group, and they played shows around campus as Art Lord & the Self-Portraits. In 2006 after the band split, Herring, Cashion, and Welmers continued under the name Future Islands and picked up the Kickass...
