Customer Reviews

This is great mix, but song 13 is NOT "The Loves We Lost"!!

It's just a copy of the previous track, "The Force of Gravity (Tiësto Remix)". As for the rest, there are many beauties here – such as the wistful, emotive (and completely badass) vocal opener "Like a Waterfall" from Solarstone (the man behind the famous "Seven Cities", along with outstanding vocalist JES from Motorcycle), the deep progressive sounds of the strangely titled "Wurz + Blosse", the absoluetely irresistible, sexy Latino-themed dancefloor smasher that is "La Noche", and the mind-blowing, out-there sounds and groovy bassline of "Arcadia", from the legends Gabriel & Dresden. The mix is a little forced and possibly inconsistent at times, but boasts a diverse selection of some of trance’s best and brightest (known or unknown :)
Disc 2 is slightly more monotonous due to it's abundance of more traditional, faster-paced trance tracks but is very well selected nonetheless. Here we get beauties like the cogna drums and guitars in the fast-paced yet relaxed sunset track that is “Palma Solane”, the similar energy on “Gravity” by P.O.S. (Paavo Siljamäki from Above & Beyond), the pleasant, relaxed progressive house/trance of "BAD", the kickass peak-time monster “White Noise” (sure to cause violence on the floor), the long-yet-beautifully done and emotive “air-guitar” remix of “UR” (Tiësto’s collaboration with Aqualung’s Matt Hales from his last album “Just Be”) by Junkie XL, the similar-yet-catchy tracks “Evolution” and “Sands of Time”, and the vastly detailed, prolonged, euphorically psychedelic trip that is Oliver Prime’s incredible remix of “Netherworld”. The mix also contains a whole lot of great, unrecognized talent, but is slightly more monotonous in track selection.

Overall, for any true trance/progressive fan this is something worth picking up!!! :))
