Album Review
Released in early 2007, Kicking Stones became Johnny Reid's first platinum-selling album with its marketable mix of country, Celtic, and adult contemporary songwriting. Supported by five singles that all cracked the Canadian country charts — not to mention a successful tour with Martina McBride and Little Big Town — the record also paved the way for subsequent albums Dance with Me and A Place Called Love, both of which went double-platinum in Canada.

Caught me totally by surprise !!
I didn't know Johnny Reid from Adam until I caught (by accident as I'm not a big country fan) part of a CMT special "Live at the Revival" featuring Johnny. Was able to tape it on a repeat performance and as a result immediately picked up some of the songs from iTunes. If you haven't heard any of Johnny's tunes, give "Feeling Alright Today", "Darling" and "Missing an Angel" a chance. Once you listen to a few of his songs, you'll be hooked. An amazing artist.
Great album
This is a great album and each song has a story to tell. Johnny puts alot into his singing, giving you the idea he can really kick up stones!
Great, Well Rounded Disk
After listening to this, and seeing him in concert, this disk is great and after he tells you the stories behind writing these songs, makes you appreciate them so much more! The lyrics are amazing and having a full band is great! Such a great mix of styles as well! One of the best concerts I have ever seen!
