Awesome
An awesome band that I've been fortunate to see twice during visits to Vancouver. Garth, singer for the band has an increadible voice which has always reminded me of Sully Erna from Godsmack (incidentally Kill Rhythm went on to open for one Godsmack's Vancouver shows). A hard rocking disc well worth a listen. Looking forward to lots more from Kill Rhythm!
Kill Rhythm lets the rhythm hit 'em
One of the better-known names on the Vancouver independent scene, Kill Rhythm's first full-length album doesn't mess around. Jumping right into things with "The Future Hurts", Kill Rhythm establishes their big sound. Big, grinding guitar riffs, big, punchy drums, relentless basslines and rusty nails vocals combine for a fist-pumpingly good time. If the album does come up short in any one area, it would be variety. By the time the album rolls around to "Believe", it starts to feel like you're listening to the same thing all over again. That said, Kill Rhythm knows what sounds good and sticks with it. The strategy isn't necessarily a bad one as it keeps the money flowing for AC/DC year after year. Other recommended tracks are "Poison Apple", "K-Town" and "Bleed Tomorrow".

This band's awesome now, and has potential to be one of those mainstream bands that everyone loves. They are Hard Rock/Alternative Metal, that has edge and power, with all the perks of catchy rock. It's just plain fun to listen and sing along to. They are also very nice, down to earth people. So they deserve your money! Put on one hell of a show too.
