Customer Reviews

Pretty good!

Bedouin is one of my favourite bands, this album is worth the buy, especially the version with the two bonus tracks Get it the way you want and On my block they are both jammin tracks! While this album is very good, it is a little different, I feel they lost a bit of their reggae feel, which is what they are famous for but some of it still hangs in the tracks. It is a little more on the pop side, which isnt bad, just a bit different for soundclash. Although, I believe the previous Street Gospels to be far superior, this album is definatly worth a purchase with personal favourites like Rolling Stone, The quick & the dead and of course Mountain Top. Excellent work, a little different (seems to be a little more gloomy and has an old west feel with more drums and strings), but nevertheless solid stuff. Go Canada Go! Bedouin never ceases to amaze!

Back to the basics

This is Bedouin's 4 full length album and like all previous albums they evolve a little more with their sound. I find this album is a bit of a throw back to the raw sound of Root Fire and not as sharply produced as Street Gospels. It's certainly a lot slower and gloomier than the 2 previous albums but worth every penny.

Loveee

Bedouin is amazing I love them:)

All musicians, the trio began performing classic reggae numbers at university. This continued for some time, and djembe player Brett Dunlop was added to create a fuller sound. In 2001, Bedouin...
