One of the Best Albums of All Time; Seriously
Probably one of the best albums of all time, "Light" by Kary shows a more hardcore version of the now, softened and calmer Wintersleep. This is one of my favourite albums, and with songs like "Clotting", "Rainbow", "Water.Rocks", "Better", "Diagram", and "Fire Burial", it adds a sense of continuity and flow to the entire album. Pick it up today, along with the "Wintersleep" albums.
Kary rocks
Sick album but I wish the other two were still available.
If you're a Wintersleep fan ...
This is not a bad album. It's far from great, but it's main appeal is definitely to fans to Wintersleep. 'Light' is similar in the fact that it's more of a listening experience than anything else (definitely no singles), but it's much heavier. Same guitarist and vocalist, so listeners will inevitably make a comparison to the other band, but this album is simply not as good. There are some great songs here, and I recommend it, but I think this was when they were still finding their voices as songwriters. That being said, it's a good listen if you're in the right mood, and it's interesting to look at Wintersleep's roots.
