I have goosebumps!
Listening to this CD gives me goosebumps! Cyndi's voice suits this style of music so well!
I have seen Cyndi in concert a few times in the past couple years and she has been talking about how much she wanted to do a blues CD. So for the few of you who are complaining about it, don't buy it. There is nothing wrong with an artist trying a different sound.

Nice to see how excellent her voice sounds and hear her take it beyond the safe and well-tested bounderies of pop. I am a blues fan and more importantly I am a music fan and welcome here Cyndi sound so sexy and wordly. The appearance of How Blue Can You Get? is punctuated by the phenomenal Jonny Lang and is a spirited cover of a classic tune B.B King introduced me too..would have loved to have heard Cyndi take a shot at knocking out a version of W-O-M-A-N...that would rock!
PHENOMENAL! CLASSIC!
I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. I have never purchased a blues album in my life but this is going to introduce me to great genre. This is a dream recording with so many legends and outstanding talents. I think this is Cyndi's best vocal performance of her career and desrves a Grammy. I am a big fan of her dance recording but this is phenomenal on so many different levels and I am trying to evolve my bias on this forgotten genre and Cyndi opened my ears, I am so grateful she did. This album zooms Cyndi lightyears ahead of any pop songstress in the past four decades. Gutsy, a revelation,an authentic artist that is not dictated by the big pop machine.
