The Arkells Go Bigger than ever
On Paper and Kiss Cam are highlights on an album that connects from top to bottom. Max Kerman and co. depart from Jackson Square by creating atmospheric build ups culminating with sing-along choruses spiked with soul and garage rock emotion. The guitars create melodic lines that build around each other while emphasizing the driving keyboard. Max Kerman sounds tender in delivering songs that talk about the beauty in tough times. You can tell that the Arkells worked to create a defining album, and the result certainly reflects this

If you're reading reviews, you are likely debating buying it. Let me tell you, you will not regret buying this album.
It's an absolutely fantastic follow up to Jackson Square. The music is melodic, the vocals are catchy, and the lyrics are sincere. My favourite song off this album is the title track, "Michigan Left". It's a very well written album, and I'm excited that they are Canadian.
