No 'Oops'! She did it again.

Britney Spears' second album is one of her most enjoyable. 1. Oops!...I Did It Again - An awesome song about playing a love game and playing with someone's heart "I played with your heart, got lost in the game." A great way to introduce a new album. 5/5 2. Stronger - There was a lyric back in "...Baby One More Time" that says "My loneliness is killing me". Britney's sequel to that song sings, "My loneliness ain't killing me no more, I'm stronger!" Fun, powerful song. 5/5 3. Don't Go Knockin' On My Door - Britney's breakup song for this album, saying "You and I are like so bye-bye!" Catchy tune, great lyrics, sweet message. 5/5 4. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Stones' version is still tops, but Britney still does an awesome job with this remake. Although the song has some parts I could live without, ("I can't get no, UH! Satisfaction!"), it's still a good song and the album wouldn't be the same without it. 4/5 5. Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know - Shania Twain, the best-selling female artist, and her then-husband, Mutt Lange, made this song for Britney, and she brings her awesomeness to the song. It's one Shania herself could have pulled off. 5/5 6. What U See (Is What U Get) - Britney powerfully sings that she is not going to change herself for a guy. A great female-empowerment song. 5/5 7. Lucky - One of my favourite songs by Britney. Britney sings about who she would be if she let all the negative comments people say actually hurt her ("She's so lucky, she's a star, but she cry-cry-cries in her lonely heart). Can you give it more than five stars? 5/5 8. One Kiss From You - A beautiful song about teen-love. You can dance to it upbeat, or a slow-dance. It's perfect in every way. 5/5 9. Where Are You Now - The softest song on the album. It's a pretty song, but not the best. 4/5 10. Can't Make You Love Me - Britney sings about not being able to have everything, and she's "just a girl with a crush on you". It also may be about Britney's relationship with the media, because she can't please everyone in the world and can't make everyone love her. Genius. 5/5 11. When Your Eyes Say It - Another sweet love song. Britney sings about her boyfriend's eyes saying he loves her, and "that's when [she] knows that it's true". 5/5 12. Dear Diary - Britney's songwriting debut! An awesome song all girls can relate to about telling your diary about that boy you saw ("Dear diary, today I saw a boy, and I wondered if he noticed me?") The lyrics sound like she really is writing in her diary. 5/5 TOTAL: 58/60 A! One of Britney Spears' best albums! Buy today!

Brit's best album.

This is no doubt Britney's best album. I bought it in stores and I still listen to it today. Recommended: - Oops!....I did it again - Stronger - Don't go knocking on my door - Lucky - One kiss from you - Cant make you love me - Girl in the mirror To me, that's Brit's greatest hits. And i'm not a fan of new Britney. Just old. If your not a fan of either, just, please, compare this to her new music and decide. Its pretty obvious what the answer is.

No oops here

Good job Britney. You were expected to deliver after Baby One More Time and you did. This is some of your best work. This has catchy beats and you just want to get up and dance to it.

Biography

Born: December 02, 1981 in McComb, MS

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

More than any other single artist, Britney Spears was the driving force behind the return of teen pop in the late '90s. The blockbuster success of the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys certainly paved the way for her own commercial breakthrough, but Spears didn't just become a star — she was a bona fide pop phenomenon. Not only did she sell millions of records, she was a media fixture regardless of what she was (or wasn't) doing; among female singers of the era (many of whom followed in her footsteps),...
