Dillinger Fans of All Eras Rejoice!!

As the title says, any Dillinger fans who stopped listening to this band at any point need to give these guys another chance with this album. Many fans dropped the band after Calculating Infinity claiming the band was no longer as brutal; well tracks like "Good Neighbor", "Crystal Mornings" and "Endless Endings" are just as vicious and technical as anything on Calculating Infinity. The songs all share the technicality of Calculating Infinity and mix it with the hateful lyrical aesthetics of Miss Machine and a healthy dose of experimentation as was seen on both their EP with Mike Patton and Ire Works their last LP. "Parasitic Twins" sounds like what "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails would sound like if The Dillinger Escape Plan wrote it and rather than aim for shock they take a far more haunting route and it's astounding. "Chinese Whispers" has what might just be the catchiest hook that Dillinger have ever wrote in the latter half of the song. Every track is solid and without fault; how the boys could ever top or match this album seems an impossible feat. This is the album of 2010 I know it's early in the year But never before has an album hit me as hard as this one. This is a must buy. Hell buy 5 or 6 copies and share them with friends. This album is well worth the price times 100

took me quite a little while to get into dillinger. everytime i would check them out i never gave the music a chance and immediately gave up on it. then this summer i went i went to the warped tour and they were one of the bans i wanted to see because i heard such good things about them live. from that moment on, they've become one of my favorite bands. they are truly a live band. you need to see them live to appreciate the intensity of their music. when you put on a dllinger cd its almost difficult to keep it on because it is so frantic, but once you see these guys live you will completely chance your view them, changed my life, no joke.
