A great well rounded album!
Ladyhawke is a grand new talent straight out of New Zealand. Definetaly a big 80's influence with a modern sound. I really recommend this album if your into electronic hard rock/pop music.
Ladyhawke is really good!
I love these songs and remix's, however this can't be her debut album? I'm guessing it's the single for "Paris Is Burning" Anyways I'm looking forward to hearing more from her
One of the best singles of the year
"Paris is Burning" sums up all that is wonderful about Paris in 3 minutes and 51 seconds. Especially the drinking wine on the sidewalk part. Beautiful.

Soon after the New Zealand band Two Lane Blacktop (named after the Monte Hellman movie) broke up in 2003, guitarist/vocalist Pip Brown moved to Sydney, Australia. She worked with several bands in the area, including Teenager and Pnau, before launching her own act in 2006. Adopting the name Ladyhawke (named after the Richard Donner movie), she handled instrumental duties herself and fashioned a fresh electronic sound. She relocated once more at the end of 2007, this time to London, where she recorded...
