Album Review
The fifth album from one of Canada's leading adult-alternative singer songwriters, Plain Jane by Chantal Kreviazuk was released in 2009 by Maple Music Recordings/Univeral. Based around her personal life as both a mother and a singer, it features the singles "Invincible," "The Way," and "Ordinary People." The CD featured 11 tracks, while the iTunes version featured the bonus tracks, "Backfires," and "Seclusion."

This Album Is Gorgeous
Chantal's best album since 'Colour Moving & Still'.....the songs are exactly what the title suggests....plain, but oh so good. The lyrics are gorgeous, yet simple. Her voice is hypnotic & ehchanting, the overall sound is just perfect. The title track is by far my favourite, it's very jazzy and spooky. Chantal is back on top. I think a Juno is in the cards for her this time around.
Good Album
Great to see another album released by Chantal, its been a while. Good vocals, classic Chantal cues throughout the songs, overall great tunes.
Plain Jane
Her vocals are spine tingling. She has a gift on the ivory. She sings with pure passion and desire. Her new cd is different, yet purely Chantal. You can hear lots of strength and uniqueness. She is a gift to music, Canada and War Child.
