1 part folk, 1 part punk, 1 part polka, 3 parts drunken misdemeanours

Known for their high-energy stage shows and eclectic mix of celtic folk music, punk mosh numbers, polkas, and sea shantys, the Dreadnoughts live up to their reputation with their third full-length album. A well-rounded demonstration of their repertoire, the first part of the album starts off with the fast-paced punk tune Cider Road, moves into polka with Polka Never Dies, then the folk-inspired ballad of Gintleman's Club and the acapella shanty Randy Dandy-Oh. The rest of the album continues to show off the Dreadnoughts' talent for harmonized vocals and steady rhythms, in such songs as the very catchy ode to that Quebecois delicacy, "Poutine". If you like folk-punk, fast and loud polkas, and general carrousing, I strongly recommend buying this album and finding out when the next Dreadnoughts show is near your town. They will never disappoint.
