Good, but not great.
So here's the thing with this release from Death Angel - the album rips along pretty good, fairly standard Death Angel type songs with the usual style of vocals,riffs and drumming.
However, the last two and a half minutes of "Claws In So Deep" are a bit of a headscratcher - the song itself is pretty good, but for some unknown reason, it lapses into an acoustic piece, totally out of place, for the last two and a half minutes. Ruined the whole song, and you won't hear it in the preview.
Second issue is the (again) acoustic ballad "Volcanic". Sorry - I don't buy Death Angel to hear acoustic ballads. Hate it, and unfortunately, knocked a pretty decent album from good to O.K.
