Rotation....

I have always loved CIWWAF, and this CD just makes me love them more. The voices and instrumentals have matured and improved, listening to it is just amazing. The song "Hollywood" really shows a range of what they can do. Over all, this was an excellent album, the music is good, the lyrics are good, the vocals are good and the instrumentals are good. It's just good.

Old Fans Will Be Dissappointed

Cute is What We Aim For pulled a Fall Out Boy. This album is generic crap. Their first album was good and different, but if you really like their first album, this new one might be a dissappointment. However, if you're beginning to like Cute Is What We Aim For because of this album, then buy it.

Good.

The album is good, the band is good. Overall the album is nothing spectacular, it wont leave you begging for more but it will leave a catchy tune in your head. This album is nothing short of good, and it is definately something to expect from Cute Is What We Aim For. Although, it is slightly more generic than the previous album. This could be (sorry for a Fall Out Boy reference) the Sophomore Slump or the Comeback of the Year, only time will tell. But its good.

The emo-pop outfit Cute Is What We Aim For emerged from Buffalo, NY, in January 2005. Although originally formed as a quintet, the band ultimately stripped down to four members, with vocalist Shaant Hacikyan, guitarist/pianist Jeff Czum, drummer Tom Falcone, and bassist/guitarist Fred Cimato comprising the lineup.
