Thanks Chad

It was a huge relief to hear this and know that it reached the expectations that Infiniheart made. Chad keeps his style and sound, but there are obvious experimental differences. Skelliconnection is all over the place, from 30 second experimental synth noise to Neil Young-ish sounding experimental indie tunes. Dead Ends I think is the best song he has created thus far. Listen to the pipes on that guy- he's never excercised his vocals like that. The album unfortunately drops a little in the middle section with the experimental tracks (only briefly), but it starts and ends amazingly well. Highly recommended, along with Inifiniheart. He's also an amazing person and puts on a mind blowing live show.

Eat your Infini-heart Out

Skelliconnection adds a new dimension to Chad Vangaalen's sound. Vangaalen has grown since Infiniheart, adding a new dimension of imagination and instrument techniques, but retains the audiences comfort level in his singing style and guitar tones. This album relfects a vast musical interest in many genres and styles, but also boasts confidence in Vangaalen's songwriting skills.

I'm never going to sleep, not when I can listen to this album instead

Great tracks, hauting beats, interesting oscillating sounds. The lyrics get trapped in your head. Not sure how I felt about the 2, 20second interlude songs...they kind of annoyed me after a while but made the following song all the more enjoyable really. There only only 2 tracks I didn't feel much connection with, Wing Finger and Wind driving dogs but they both have similar whimsy sounds so could be personal preference.
