What an amazing album. Intimate, emotional, catchy, with a broad range from plucky to soaring. Kevin is an underappreciated Canadian artist.

His voice is amazing & what he can do with the cello, wow. Kevin Fox is an amazing artist, there is no one in music with his talent. An album everyone should own, Buy it Now!!!!!
INCREDIBLE.
Wow wow WOW! I just saw Kevin Fox in concert, and had the immense privilege of being part of a group of musicians who were able to play the back up orchestral parts in "In the Eyes of You" and "Away Too Long" with him for that performance. It gave me an even greater appreciation for how he weaves each part together to create something that is absolutely beautiful. And the rest of the concert was equally amazing! I bought the CD, and have found it hard to pick favourites... they are all simply gorgeous and all so different from each other! If I had to choose a few however, I would have to say that his covers of Kate Bush's "Army Dreamers", and the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" are both incredibly well done. "Fool in Love", "Phone Booth", "Away Too Long", and "Sharing the Night" also really stood out to me. I especially love "Sharing the Night".... certain parts of the song actually brought to mind the intro to Muse's "Exogenesis Symphony Pt. 1 - Overture", with the very fast bowings.... it was an exquisite, slightly haunting song.... I highly recommend "Sharing the Night". And the rest of Kevin Fox's work is equally beautiful! It is all truly exceptional, and I highly recommend it! If you ever have the chance to see him live... do yourself a favour, and go! This is one talented artist, who has brought the cello to new levels, and bridged the gap between classical music, and superbly crafted pop!
