Progressive and Weird.

Future Fusion Metal is what MNEMIC described this album as...and I agree. Very prog., very experimental, but still a weird hybrid metal. These guys are definietely a way more experienced, and matured band than their first two discs (which I still love), and little less straightforward than their last effort (which was also awesome). Some interesting and creative riffs (dual harmonies on opening track), great clean vocal work (Mnightmare, The Erasing) and then from there-on-out the disc continues up this trick of a bit of catchy, a bit of heavy, and very weird and progressive.

Why???

Why does every song have the exact same structure as the last? Why is there an awesome heavy part and then a horrible, melodic harmonized vocal part. Freakishly boring and stale as burnt toast. Pussy-weak synth sounds. Horrible song writing. A complete and utter disappointment. It's like Peter Pan trying to play metal. Doesn't work.

Also, the song previews are lies; they suggest that each song is heavy as hell when they clearly are NOT. Each chorus is a ridiculous choir of idiots singing about their feelings. I didn't hear that in the previews. A complete waste of $9.99.

music

Ordinarily I would stay away from synth and guitar bands, just because its weak. but this band from their first release has it locked up in every way. you wanna listen to something out of the box this is it, Every release is incredible. I don't know what that carl guy was listening to but clearly it wasn't mnemic.
