If Iggy Pop and The Walkmen took turns having wild and unsafe sex with a hot and funky librarian in the back of a 1974 Ford Country Squire... the resulting baby would be Zeus.
Even better live!
If you live in the area of SW Ontario try to go out and see these guys live. They opened at a small show I was at and dwarfed the headlining band by a mile. If you love the EP get out to see them live! I counted the days till this record debuted- can't wait for the next one!!

Unlike the several heavy metal bands that share the same name, the Canadian indie group Zeus forgoes doom and gloom to make music with three-part harmonies, Americana sensibilities, and sunny power pop hooks. After parting ways with the 6ixty8ights, childhood friends (and ten-year veterans of the Toronto music scene) Mike O’Brien and Carlin Nicholson reunited to play shows as Paso Mino, the backing band of Broken Social Scene member Jason Collett.
