Album Review
The eponymous debut album by Stereos, a Canadian pop band that rose to fame on the MuchMusic television show disBAND, includes their pair of Top Five smash hits ("Summer Girl," "Throw Ya Hands Up") and several other songs with a similar style. Stereos are a band of heavily tattooed hipsters who draw on various aspects of American urban music, most notably hip-hop beats, party rap lyrics, and Auto-Tune vocals.

Let Down
to be honest, i usually HATE music like this, and stereos just proved to me why i do. i saw them on disband, and honestly, they interested me. summer girls came out, and i'll be honest, i was addicted. this band does something so different regarding their sound. something i've never really heard before. i was SO disappointed when i listened to the album. apparently the whole album is just a rip off of summer girls. i swear its the same song over and over again. its generic, and unmemorable. this band is a one hit wonder. and they better enjoy their 15 minutes while it lasts. its sad that people are calling these guys "the best band ever" you need to listen to some real music. terrible, and disappointing.
Samething over n over
Thank god I didn't buy the album...there swell guys but there's only 3 or 4 songs that are good n doesn't sound the same. Like there whole album has most of the songs sounding the same....wtf???
Whoever produced there album should clean there ears n hear that there are songs that sound alike n maybe they should remake the album with each song sounding different from each other..
A Good Album
I love this album. People who say that they're a one hit wonder are a little off, since two are their singles have have been in the top ten on Much Music. =) I find they are a good Canadian band, and I like the album. Can't wait to go see them =D
